The National Green Tribunal on Tuesday issued instructions regarding Its working from May 4, once the Covid-19 lockdown is supposed to become relaxed, saying that the Chairperson, Members and officials (Deputy Registrars and over ) will attend workplace with 100% attendance.
As For the staffaround 33 percent of this strength will attend the workplace informed from time to time, the NGT explained.
According to the office arrangement issued from the NGT Section heads/incharge of sections will prepare rosters of employees needed to attend office and the team members not needed to present physically in the workplace.
But they Will stay and will attend office when and as required, it stated.
"Considering the wellbeing and security of attorneys / people / Litigants / personnel, until the problem of Corona enhances, judicial work will be run from the Benches of NGT simply by Video Conferencing, with no bodily presence/appearance of parties or their counsel in the NGT complicated," the circular said.
It stated that just online filing (e-filing) of instances will be permitted and no actual filing is allowed.
It said:"The parties/lawyers may ask for record or adjournment of the instances or create barbarous mentioning, by sending an email beforehand to judicialngt@nic.in. All communicating with NGT qua record of instances, submitting of documents/reports, filing of written submissions / synopsis / sound of oral admissions (if any) etc. will be accomplished only by means of this email ID."
The choice has been taken in light of sequence The authorities on the topic of operation during lockdown period on account of, over and requiring presence of the officers of amount of Deputy Secretary as well as 33% presence of employees.
