Kerala government hospital deploys robot to function COVID-19 patients



A government hospital at Ernakulam at Kochi has deployed a robot to serve food and medications to coronavirus (COVID-19) patients with a goal to decrease risk of illnesses for physicians and health workers.



Malayalam The Viswasanthi Foundation of Celebrity Mohanlal given the robot into the COVID-19 ward of this Ernakulam government medical college hospital.

The Robot called'KARMI-Bot' is employed to aid patients in the COVID-19 isolation shield of the college the Ernakulam district Public Relations Department said in a release.



Robotics, a firm working under manufacturer village of Kerala assignment develop the robot.

"Dispensing Food, medication, collecting the garbage utilized from the patients, doing disinfection, empower video telephone between the physician and patients etc., would be the key responsibilities of this robot," the release stated.

The Purpose of the project would be to set a limit on the interaction between COVID-19 patients and health workers and to deal with deficit of PPE kits by minimising its usage, it stated.



After The robot will have the ability to do its responsibilities autonomously. The robot is capable of attaining a maximum rate of 1m.

ASIMOV Robotics intends to integrate automatic charger and contactless temperature checking that is regular - Bot the parts can be found after lock .
