Throughout lockdown, Research Hyderabad through virtual heritage walks

Were you aware that the Qutb Shahi rulers of erstwhile Golconda kingdom Had camels? A B Gopalakrishna Founder of Hyderabad Trails, was a bit reluctant once the notion of a virtual walk on Twitter was floated by Andrew Fleming to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. "He'd attend our heritage walks and dwell chat, sharing about 25 to 30 tweets with pictures, information and keep it interactive via queries. He was convinced we could test a similar way," states Gopalakrishna.

The Virtual walk lasted through a string of tweets with photographs and queries and anecdotes. "Throughout a true walk, then and now folks would share stories which they've read or heard, pertaining to a historic website. We attempted to make that interactive character on the internet through questions and replies," states Gopalakrishna.

Nearly 300 Twitter users participated with the virtual Walk with at least 40 individuals, over both and a half hour length.

Gopalakrishna Wants to keep those virtual walks. In addition, he plans to perform just a'Stories of India' chat collection that is online by bringing to complete history insights of different places in India and inviting experts.
